The Maico rear sprockets all have the same center hole size and have six bolt holes. A quick reference to the three rear sprocket part numbers will help you identifiy your rear sprocket:
4457, bolt holes 0.290 inch, material thickness at bolt hole is 0.188 inch. Bolt holes (0.290in) are standard. (no counter sink)
4458, bolt holes 0.335 inch, material thickness at bolt hole is 0.215 inch, Bolt holes (0.335in) are 90 degree counter sink.
4459, bolt holes 0.335 inch. material thickness at bolt hole is 0.165 inch, Bolt holes (0.335in) are 90 degree counter sink.
4458- Maico 1981 and 1982 models. This part has counter sink bolt holes. Center hole is 7.015in., a drag out on one side of part out to 8.120in. and material thickness of .215in at bolt holes. Bolt holes are .334in. or 8.5mm diameter. Check your old sprockets for fitment and measure to make sure this will fit your bike. Many times on an older motorcycle the wheels may have been replaced. Note: the main difference between a 4458 and 4459 part number is the material thickness at the bolt hole. 4458=0.215in. and 4459=0.160in. of material thickness.
